Experio Lab is inviting to the Experio Seminars. Once a month we’ll invite interesting researchers to talk about service design, service logic and user-driven services in public sector.
Design has a long history in governance. The field of design studies, for example, examines how design mediates relationships between citizens and the state, from the design of public spaces that ‘govern’ everyday interactions and behaviours through signage and architecture to the forms through which users experience public services. In the field of policy design, for example, public administration scholars conceive of their field as ‘design science’ and of policymaking as designing. In addition to some of these more well-established relations between design, governance and policy, there are further roles in the so-called ‘present day design wave’ in government that are as yet less (critically) studied.
The seminar will be held in english.
April 11th 13:30 – 14:45 CET on Zoom
The seminar is free of charge and open for everyone.
