Region Kalmar promotes a systematic improvement of its operations and is always trying to develop and secure their quality, so that the results and user experience will improve even more for our inhabitants, patients and customers.

Improvement work is a natural part of our day-to-day activities and everyone is expected to actively participate and make suggestions, present ideas and learn from one another. Both patients and healthcare staff have a lot to gain from the knowledge, experience and involvement of other patients and family members being better utilised. We use methods and tools such as breakthrough methodology, service design and open innovation.
